Two butts on at midnight. Running at 230 with HM PID control. Brined ~25 hours. Rubbed with Famous Daves Rib Rub.

Having issues with Noisy probes on HeaterMeter graph when monitoring. Believe this is my power supply and I'm discussing with other folks in the HM forum to find a better power supply or alternative solution.

Here's a new one. Looks like I maybe got combustion in the box?

Looking good Tony. You must be expecting a small army  or you plan on packing the freezer which isn't a bad idea  ;)

Ralph-

Sam's sells em in two packs. I'll eat some tonight, pack some in fridge for camping this weekend, and freeze the rest.

Nice, looks like your temp is holding nice and steady.

What thread are you discussing this in?  Kinda wonder if that was effecting me with my ribs not being fully done.

Where is the pics?  In my best Top Gun angry tower boss voice "I want to see some butts!"

Ask and ye shall receive. Dinner was awesome!

Your noise is very confusing.  It's on both heatermeters, both probes, and multiple power supplies?

Thanks guys. Eating a good portion of it this weekend at the campground... Reheating in crock pot.

Trip, I'm pretty sure I have some form of electrical noise entering into the heatermeter through the power supply and causing the noise issues. I'm just not sure why I have this problem and no one else seems to report anything like it. Perhaps I need to try a smoke session at another location other than my house and see if the problem shows up still. I seen some solution where some folks added some capacitors to help.

I've been a smoking machine this weekend. Did 3 racks of baby backs on saturday, two racks of St. Louis spares on Sunday, and two 7.5 pork butts just put on the bbq now.

Live monitor the butts at bbq.tonylyne.com. I've pretty much frozen the ribs in foodsaver bags for future reheat and camping. Might take the pulled pork to family out of state but I'll have to sample it first tomorrow night for quality control.

Yeah... I'm pretty happy with the performance now. I must have gotten lucky with the probe placement and equilibrium.
