I've put together a short eBook called "Lazy Q."  It's available, as a free download, on the Smokin-It website.  I can't attach it here, as the file is too big. Click on the link, then click on the Lazy Q link on the SI page to download.

Check it out - I hope it helps those just starting out, and those of you who have been on the journey awhile!

Lazy Q Book

Feel free to PM me with any suggestions!

Enjoy!

Tony - Excellent!.  It reflects a lot of time and effort  and is something to be very proud of.  This should be included with every smoker.  Many thanks.  Dave

Thank you for doing this.  I just read it but I think I will have to go back a time or two so I can check my times and technique.

Outstanding book! You are a very valuable and talented asset to the Q world, as well as Smokin-it and this forum. Thank You for your hard work, generosity, and kindness.

That is awesome Tony.

I reference your information all the time.  Now it can be found all in one place instead of searching through forum threads.

Thanks for your work on this and all that you provide to the forum.

Thanks, everyone!  I hope it helps.  I originally started writing it to sell, but figured "What the hey?  Why not just give it to my SI friends?"  So, here we are! ;)

Tony,

Fantastic information!  Thank you for putting it together and offering it for free.  It may be worth hanging the link in the introduction section along with a suggestion (requirement  ;D) for all 'newbies' like myself to read it.  If nothing else, it offers a great background to the lingo used on the forum.

Thanks, also, to all who contributed to the contents.  This forum / family is fantastically amazing.

Good stuff! Thank you, it will help everyone especially the new owners trying to get their bearings.

Tony, you did a heck of a job on your Lazy-Q book. Lots of good info there and it will provide some excellent direction for both the beginners and crusty old pro's alike. Going to have to give some jerky a try and was motivated by your book. I'd buy you a cold beer for your efforts, but guess I'll have to enjoy it alone:-) Happy Smoking!

I just briefly reviewed the book, but it looks awesome! I have downloaded and will be reading in more detail later.

Thank you Tony so much for putting this together and for all of your help here on the Smokin-It Forum board!

Great idea!  I will put a link in the intro message.  Thanks!!

This is great! The forum is growing, and there is a variety of information out there. All the of basic tried and true info in one place should be really helpful for getting people off to a good start.

Great job Tony!  This is a wonderful example of why this site is growing so fast.  Not only is the smoker the best out there,  but the people are genuine and so unselfish.  Thanks for all the patience and effort you put into this site.  You don't know how appreciated and admired you are for all you do here.
