Tony , First off no poly here and to tell you the truth I really was thinking of this weapon ( two ) for my first choice for my wife and I  http://www.magnumresearch.com/Firearms/Magnum-Research-Baby-Desert-Eagle-II-9mm-Steel-Full-Size-15-round.asp and to tell you the truth a 9mm would be a perfect weapon to get my wife involved in shooting considering a 45 packs a little to much wallop for her and posting the link for a Desert Eagle- three was my mistake ..............sorry .

I like it!  They make some fine firearms.  But, I would look for a better deal on something like a used Beretta 92.  They're all over the place, in 9mm, solid performers, and can save you some serious $$.  It's what our military currently shoots, so it's easy for both sexes. ;)

How about a .38 special +P  S&W has some nice revolvers that are small frame and would fit nicely in a small or large hand. I got this pic off the S&W website. I think retail is 699.  With some of the potent personal protection ammo the .38 is pretty formidable plus it's not hard to conceal or shoot.

Can't go wrong with a good wheel gun!  Again, though, you can save a ton of money going with a good used S&W, Colt or Ruger revolver.  They're not as "cool" to most folks as the semi's, so you can usually find a bargain.  Check your local gun stores' used departments.

This is basically the same gun with rubber grips. Pretty good price too. The one in the picture in my post above is a lady smith. The one in the link isn't. I say big deal they both go bang.

J-Frame S&W's are great we have more than a few. The recoil can be sharp to some ladies hands even with milder loads. this is especially true in the Airweight guns.

I have switched to Liberty Ammunition http://libertyammunition.com/ in all of our J-Frames and the .380, it is smoking fast and light weight bullets so the recoil is mild. Watch some videos, this stuff performs.

I've got to check them out. What was that in the cooler they were shooting? I was watching it on my phone so I couldn't tell. Whatever it was disintegrated. Good stuff, thanks.

Thanks for the gun porn, Brian!  I just drooled...  That's a very nice weapon!  So rare, too!

No waiting on payday I need to order some 44 special brass, I want to get nickled cases so I can tell at a glance they are not the magnums.

Since I last posted here I have gotten a couple more friends to add to the fold :)

I bought an AR-15 and then a 12 gauge tactical shotgun. I haven't even shot the shotgun yet.

Here's the AR

I know it's silly loading it up with all the garb, especially the knife, but I like it lol. It's a heavy brute though. I may take some of it off, maybe not :P

I just realized I have no pics of the shotty, I'll have to take some.

Here's a few pics of the shotgun. It's a security model Mossberg Maverick 88 12 gauge that I added an ATI Talon Grip and Stock w/Scorpion Recoil and Halo Ghost Ring Sights. I have yet to shoot it but I like it.
