replaced damaged heating element and got the wiring wrong need help. It connects but runs at full blast

I took pics of the wiring but still must have messed it up? Heating element was damaged and after install and putting back together it connects to phone but doesn't shut down when temp is reached.

Are you sure everything was put back properly. It should have been a very simple repair. Possibly you have a loose wire or maybe in moving things out of the way you kinked connection to the box temp probe? I cannot think of anything else so you may need to contact Steve.

I think I figured it out. Sorry for posting too soon. I got two wires switched. It should have been simple.. decided to make it harder than necessary.

Glad you figured it out. Pretty easy to switch a wire inadvertently.

Just had an opportunity to take it back apart and switch the wires. t didn't work. I had them correct the first time I think because I switched them back and it seemed to work great until I turned it off.

My issue is that even with the switch off if plugged in it runs. I ran a test run and the controls worked.. shut off the switch and it still gets hot.

Is this a switch that needs replaced? Do I still have it wired incorrectly? It connects to my phone and runs correctly until I turn it off??
