I read where someone bought the 1240 for their #2.  Will the #2 support the 1530 or do I need to purchase the 1240?  I am new to smoking and want to get the correct thing.

Johnny... What are you cooking and getting such good swings? What's inside? Water pot etc. maybe I had too little meat and thus the broader swings.

Also anyone know how to record and chart stuff with an auber? Is there an adapter of sorts one could buy as an add on...

I usually just fill it up with meat. No water.
Usually 2 or 3 racks of ribs or three chickens.
