Larger Vent?

Hey guys, I've owned my 3.5 for probably 10 years, either way bought it right when it was released. I have loved it since day one. Only complaint is how much humidity it holds in the smoker. Almost find it struggles to get a great bark like an offset smoker that has more airflow.
Has anyone increased the size of the top vent on thier smoker or added a bottom vent to encourage more air circulation?

Very curious of what others have done or if the experience the same thing.

Have you tried adding the jerky dryer to the smoker? That might help. I have a 3D and never had a problem getting good bark.
