So, anyone has it yet?

I like the M-shaped element (and the increased capacity) but that thing is a beast.  I'm curious to see the full height/width specs once they're released ...

Too big for my home use but that is a VERY low price point for a small commercial operation; this should help Smokin-It expand it's customer base with a bit of word-of-mouth marketing ...  :)

For a fleeting moment I entertained the thought.
Then I thought what my wife would say  ;D

Couldn't have said it better myself, Zed! ;)  Awesome-looking unit, and great price point for a small commercial operation.  Heck, I hear some folks spend more than that for a pizza oven!  ;D

I think if I told my wife I was buying another smoker, I would be moving into the shed.  It would be nice if we could retro-fit the m heating element into our smokers.  The best of both worlds.  My #3 is more than enough for me.  I have yet to fill the smoker beyond two racks.

Joe, I gave it a try, I can get wifi in the shed, however the college bills are not going away...

I really do enjoy the #3.

Just ordered my Model #4.

Some of you guys just ain't approaching the problem right. Let me tell you my secret:

My old MasterBuilt died (again) and my wife was dead set against me buying 'yet another smoker'. You know how some wives get when you want to buy new toys. So here's what I did.

I found a website where this guy took 48 cinder blocks, 3 pieces of 14 gauge steel, a big pile of sand to make a 7' X 5' pad; then marched her out into the backyard and showed her my plans.... by the time I got halfway through my list, she whipped out her checkbook faster than Wyatt Earp at the OK Corral. Selling is easy if you know what your customer doesn't want. HeeHee! ;D

In the name of rational restraint, I urge everyone on here to refrain from sabotaging your Smokin-Its in attempt to implement Scot's plan ...

Purposefully damaging your Smokin-It would be a crime against nature.  ;D

Pretty smart "take away" close there, scotsys. lol.  She obviously was happier with you buying a #4 instead of razing your backyard like Sherman's march through the south!  Brilliant.

Please give us lots of details on your new #4 when it arrives!  Congratulations on being one of the first!

Oh, and be sure to post your link to the 48 cinder block website for the rest of us to use!  ;)

Lol UW.  I agree.  No one should ever intentionally damage a Smokin It.  That would go against all that is good in the world. But I have to say, well played Scott!

Great approach, I guess I am not too smart. Good luck with the new machine. My smoker is less than two months old, maybe we can request a trade-in program. Certified pre-owned smokin-it electric smokers.

I like it!  Should be worth more, since they're well-broken-in!  Maybe we could call them "Premium Flavored!"

With the new picture on the site's home page, one gets a good idea of the size of the new model 4.

Amazing.  That sucker should have 3 latches!  You could slide about 2 1/2 of my #1s inside it.  Wow.  Just like Smoke's first-generation model 3 with one latch, I bet the Gen 2 #4 has 3!  I said it here first!
