Preparing for arival

Hi,

I've ordered a SI #3 and am going to install a dedicated circuit/outlet on my deck for
the SI and occasional use by a rotisserie motor. I plan to run 12/3 to a weather proof
2 gang box but cap off the extra wire for possible future use. In this box I can either
install a GFCI outlet or standard outlet and then use a GFCI circuit breaker. My question is
what is the maximum amp draw of the SI #3 and what gage is the extension cable
provided for connecting the SI #3. I'm looking to size the circuit breaker at either
15 or 20 amp.

Thanks

If you are running a new circuit to an exterior outlet, it should be controlled by a GF outlet breaker.  My #4 (1500 watt element) runs on a standard plug outlet, 15 amp.

@SuperDave,

Yes this will be a new dedicated circuit from the panel so I'll use a GFCI breaker.

@Pork Belly,

My grill has a rotisserie attachment that I sometimes use. In the past I've ran an
extension cord across the deck to it. This will put the power outlet close to both
the SI#3 and the grill.

I'll go with a 15 amp breaker, can always change it out to a 20 amp if needed.

Thanks
