That is one serious collection, do you have a family of 40 :)

Take of the zero and you'd be right! I do a fair bit of entertaining and feed people well when they come over. Needless to say, they come over a lot. I love it though, I like to cook and make people happy!

LOL----------Ha Ha Ha ..........you show off considering I only have three Webber grills with one being an Original Kettle  , one small Jumbo Joe  , Webber Sprint -3 burner / gas , and a number 2 - Smokin - Smoker .

Jason,

You have a great setup, congrats!

Greg

If I had the space and more importantly the wife's approval, I'd have a Santa Maria grill as well, maybe even a UDS. I just like to cook on different things. I don't get so caught up in using one cooker that I am too blind to see the beauty and functionality of another. I plumbed Natural Gas to my gas grill and side burner so that's great for when you just want to fire up the grill for a quick meal. Never running out of gas is great too ;)

I used to have an offset smoker as well as a fairly nice propane grill. I gave those away and they're still in use which makes me feel good. I'd rather them be used than end up in a landfill. If I still had those, the wife would probably have kicked me out by now :P

Helluva nice set up there, Jason!  Did you build the built-in counter?

Yes sir, took longer than I thought and cost more than I planned,  lol!

Does anyone else ever post pictures on this forum?  Lol.

I'd love to see what your setups look like.  Don't hold out on me!  ;D

Looks good and TIDY!

Is that a screen in deck?

I have a hunch no matter where you put the new smoker a bit seeps into the house.  Looks like the #3 is close to door or siding?

Sig picture shows my "novice" set up but works fine so far.

Which cooking devices are now for sale after you got the #3 SI?

No, I thought about screening it in. It's the area under my deck by the basement.

I am used to that, my other smokers always "perfume" the basement as well. It is close to the siding but I'll pull it away when cooking. I just put it there for the sake of having it in the group shot. My Traeger which is right beside it and that's it's normal spot.

I don't see a sig pic, do you mean your avatar pic? If so, it's too small for me to see what ya got.

None! They all serve a purpose. I've only cooked one thing on the #3 so far, and it was excellent and I'm sure there will be many more excellent things cooked in the not so distant future. My Kegs are the mainstays of what I do, the one not in the island goes with us on trips even. The Traeger makes the best chicken out of any grill/smoker I've ever owned, so it's safe. The gasser is a built in, so it's not going anywhere. So, you see, it's just all one big family of cookers and that kitchen is their home ;D

Here's the Traveling Keg that I took to Scottsboro Alabama last October to meet up with forum members for a few days of cooking, eating (A LOT) and hanging out with some of the best people you can ever hope to meet. It's amazing how nice BBQ people are!

Mine is the first one, hooked up to the red truck far left. You can see others with theirs hitched up. This was on the day we all left out. Can't wait to go back this October!

DM, you were asking about the island and such, here's what it looked like before I started any of it. Actually before I even finished the basement, those doors were replaced, so it's an old picture. My roof has even been replaced since this pic was taken!

Then somewhere along the way I decided to put a ceiling below the deck to keep the area dry. Bought a table and chairs and you see my 2 kegs.

One day I had the idea to make a small island just to put a keg in (the BSK 2000, black one)

Then that lead to me wanting to do a whole island with a drop in gasser and it just took off from there.

It was certainly time consuming but I am glad I did it!

Thanks Greg! I'll be honest and say if I had to do it again, I would choose to leave it as it was, lol!

Now, I've shown y'all mine, show me yours ;D

I try not to collect to many things so I just sold my Green Egg which I had for about 13 years. For smoking/grill I have the #2 and a Bubba BBQ Oven.
The grill is made in Georgia and it is ugly but just keeps going. It has a 16 lb cast iron burner and I made a mod or so and I can get about 750+ degree indirect heat out of it.

Due to it's ugliness it stays covered most of the time, my wife prefers not to look at in when she is in the pool area :)

AWESOME!!!!!!!

I love it Greg. What a beautiful pool and patio you have! I can't believe that you sold that BGE though, after 13 years! That was your buddy ;D

Kamados make great pizzas and I know you're the resident pizza pro. You don't miss it?

I really enjoyed the egg, but it was also a lot of work/fun. I did do a few pizzas on it and over the years have tried dozens of pizza stones.

But then I found the Emile Henry Baking Stone, it is Rectangular 18"L x 14"W and can take heat to 900+ degrees. But the best part about it is that the glaze is micro-crazed (unlike a stone, that will adsorb cheese and ingredients which can make it smoke) the glaze contributes to crispy well-baked crusts, just like a pizza oven.but now do all in our oven. I crank up the heat to 550 (gets around 580 degrees) and use bake my pies for about 6-7 minutes and they turned out great. The only other item I have used for pizzas is called baking steel, but when I did side by side compares the emile stone did just as good with no cleanup or the need to season it.

That's why you're the pizza king! Good info!

I would not say king, maybe even not knight, but I am picky and the end result is really good pizza. I have friends that have wanted to back me in the pizza business, but that sounds like way to much work :)

Greg

I wont show my wife pics of your deck, or I'll have a project on my hands!  So far these three are all I need.  Well.....................  If I find an egg or keg at a yard sale its in my van under $100
