Hello everyone, lurked around the site for about 3 months until I finally saved enough coin to buy a Model 2.  New to smoking, still have not invested in the Maverick temp probe.  Smoked some ribs last weekend, turned out great...really great.  Not bad for first smoke.  I am a novice really, can't wait to get the temp probe and jump in for some pork shoulder, brisket, etc.
