Just want to thank everyone for such great information. Have learned so much from this forum and hope to be able to tap into even more insight as I attempt more smokes in the future! Other forums seem to be based on ridiculing others than providing help.  THANKS AGAIN!

Well said!  I have been on the forum since it opened, something like 2 years ago, and I benefit every day from what I read.  Having the recipes and post discussions to fall back on has been great.  And the fact that we are colleagues and learning from each other keeps this forum alive and prospering.  Cheers!

Ditto Smokinfan! I am a "Newbie" as well and everyone on here has been extremely helpful and eager to offer advice. I have learned a lot from this forum and reading all of the recipes and posts. I have only used my Smokin-it #2 twice so far but I am sure glad I got it and joined this forum.

Thanks for the positive comments, guys! ;D  I'm very proud that we've been able to maintain a great group of "like-minded" folks around here, where helping each other is the most important thing!  Whenever one of the kind you mentioned "slips through the cracks," we usually get them out of here pretty quick!  We catch the vast majority of the spammers, and non-owners who just want to play those games, pretty quick.  We don't all share the same opinions, and that's another thing that makes it great - but we can disagree with respect (like grownups).  No petty stuff allowed around here!
