dressed up my #3

I received my #3, jerky dryer and a-maze-n. I christened the smoker with two racks of bb's. I cold smoked about 10 lbs of belly after sitting in pop's brine for 15 days.  I'll be slicing the bacon on Wednesday after my Chef's Choice 615 arrives.  The highlight of today was when my sticker arrived after 2.5 weeks!  I love the way it looks on my #3. Fat pig had me laughing at it for quite a while!  I'm thinking of having a cousin (with great model painting skills), paint the apple a shiny red.

Nice Tony, looks good.  I was trying to add pics of the ribs,  pork belly,  but my pics are too large.  I'll have to remember to lower the image quality for my next cooks.  I was contemplating building my own dryer but I'm glad I went through with buying the James. The construction of these driers are top notch!  If the fan ever burnt out,  it's an easy, cheap fix. I do wish it had a variable speed control,  which I will be modifying to add one.

Bryan, love the special smokin' rug.  :)
FYI, Home Depot has 20" X 20" ceramic tiles for $4.00 that work great for placing in front of the door for drips that occur opening the door or putting food in or out. They also had some 24" X 24" but the price really jumped.

Haha, that's the rug from my backyard door. I pulled the smoker inside to apply the sticker since it's been in the high 20's here. I rolled the smoker over it just in case of any drippings. It's still in my den though providing as a nice air freshener!

Hey Josh, thanks. I found it on amazon. They have several different size and colors. My original plan was to stick it on one of the sides. My measurements were off on the height so I figured it fit best up top. While laying it out to check for placement, I noticed the vent hole was right around it's nostril. So yes, I unscrewed the vent sleeve, and started applying the decal at the vent hole, worked it out to the top, then down to the bottom. I ordered one more different decal for the front door. Stand by for pics. Hopefully it doesn't take 2.5 weeks for delivery!
