i find Cherry is good on everything. granted Hickory is still my go to wood for pork but i did a butt in cherry and it was great. I went to a restaurant in Nashville downtown. they use only cherry in this ENORMOUS smoker they call the hogfather. The place is called Pucketts in Nashville. If you ever get in the area. The pulled pork was quite good. Its a great stop for breakfast and some pulled pork with your eggs.
