jcboxlot New member Jan 11, 2015 #1 Ok to use or not on a #2. I got a perm base at auction and need to run 6-8 foot in addition to one on smoker. OK or nope? Cord specs to look for ? I searched and didn’t see see too much negative. Thanks

DivotMaker New member Jan 11, 2015 #2 I use a 50' 12/3 contractor-grade cord with no problems. Stay away from 14/3 unless it's like 10', imo.
