Yes. The veggies in the turkey pan get cooked in butter and turkey drippings.  They are fantastic and don't get thrown out. 
 
That looked pretty good. I prefer the oven roasted vegetables, rubbed in oil and salted/seasoned over the pan and smoked method. I'm curious about the moisture level of the turkey? I can't deny, the end result looked good!  How long did you brine that 14+ pounder?
