You gotta try this! - Ribs with a Kick

I had some friends coming over last night and made my standard Baby backs. When I was at the store they had some pre-cut spare ribs on sale for $4.50. I bought them and tried an experiment which made me wish I made them all this way!

I am sure you could do this with a half rack of baby backs or St Louis ribs just to try it out. If you like a lot of flavor and a little heat (not over the top) give this a try.

1. Marinade in Stubbs Pork Marinade for at least an hour.

2. Take them out of the marinade and do a heavy dusting of Rendezvous dry rub (available on Amazon)

3. smoke the ribs  No Peek style  from here. (look at Tony's sticky on ribs after the seasoning step when you put them in the smoker. if you don't know what that means).

4. Eat and enjoy! the results are amazing! My guests absolutely loved them! unfortunately it was just an experiment. You know your on to something when the first word out of their mouth is "Oh My God!" ha  ha ha!

That being said the standard made ribs with Killer Hoggs rub were good as well. They are my go to rub and tasted awesome but could not hold a candle to this new experiment.

Give it a shot and let me know your thoughts.
