I will buy the #1 as that is all I can afford but may not happen for 3 to 4 weeks. Then I will be on the hunt for instructions so I do not waste any Ribs or Salmon or the wife will have me sleeping next to the smoker I have a line on Apple and Apricot trees for wood so that helps a bit.TX Gent said:Hank pull the trigger on either a #1 or 2 and you won't regret it. Pretty much a one time investment which should last for a long time bringing more enjoyment than the cost. It's more than just smoking a few times a year .... it actually becomes a craft due to the differences in woods, individual taste and personal refinements in smoke style techniques. It's many returns greater than the sum in the long run.
