Wings and turds. Thanks to the poster who said he uses leftover pulled pork in his turds. I had some frozen from my last butt and it was an excellent sub for smokies. 250, wings had been dry rubbed 4 hours prior. They got an hour in the SI 1 and then sauced with One Hot Asian.

Threw some potatoes on the bottom rack. Can’t wait to taste them after their wing and bacon bath! Smoked some eggs at 225 earlier in the day, will turn them and the potatoes into some sort of warm bacon potato salad tomorrow.

There used the be a BBQ place in my town that had amazing turds. I was so sad when they closed, and so happy when I realized I can now make my own! I halved and cleaned out a bunch of jalapenos (want to say I did 6-8? Can't remember, just kept cutting them!)

I'd combined a softened brick of cream cheese, a couple ounces of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and a shake or two of my favorite dry rub, and then smeared it into each jalapeno half. I had some leftover pulled pork from an earlier smoke so I topped each half with some of that before wrapping each in half a slice of bacon. Smoked for 250 for 2 hours.

My thought when I made them was, "Man, I've made way too many for two people and they'll never get eaten!" That was a lie, lol. They are gone and now I am sad.
