Can you control a smoker with WiFi from away from home?

I think you can through the App. But, I could be wrong. I don’t have a WiFi unit. I do have an Anova sous vide machine that is WiFi connected, I have been in Denver while my sous vide was cooking a chuck roast and I was able to make adjustments to the temp. I’m assuming the interface for the WiFi smokin-it works the same.

Hopefully others comment to clarify what I’ve mentioned above.
