What kind of ribs have I? ( isn't there a song similar to this?)

The package is labeled "Pork Loin Back Ribs".  Do I treat them like Baby Backs, or St Louis cut.  They kind of look like something in between. They are shorter than Baby Backs, but not as meaty as St Louis.    Anybody recognize what I am talking about?

Just treat them as pork ribs. Use you favorite rub or marinade and your regular method of smoking.  If you like the 3-2-1 method or some variation, by all means go that route.  Same cooking temp, 225 or so and same time.

As long as they're labeled "back ribs," they are not spares (whole or St Louis cut).  They are from higher on the hog, as opposed to the straighter spare ribs, which are the lower section.  Check out the many recipes for smoking baby backs, under the Pork recipes section.
