Upping temp on the 3D- Have to reprogram?

So I am smoking a pork butt.  Started at 235 and I am thinking once I get home I will up it to 250.  Do I have to reprogram emtirely or do I just press set and +, or something like that?

Also when I programmed it I only used the 1 section, and 2-6 were 0.

So it was c-1 235 degrees and f-1 at 195 degrees.  I see people talking about auto tuning and some other weird stuff, is that necessary?  so I have a C-2 with a low temp or something?

I've been using my 3D since receiving it in February this year and have not done an auto tune. Not using any auxiliary remotes either.  Just going with the factory settings and all is well.

Kyle, curious why you would up the temp to 250.

I was reading online that pork butt can really handle the higher heat and I I like more of that char bark where its crispy and I assumed with the higher temp for the last hour or two it would give me more of that.  Plus it would cook it somewhat faster.......

Probably no harm, if the results were good!  I just keep mine on 235 until around 190, then wrap/rest.  I get really good bark like that, and don't want to risk drying the butt any more than necessary.  If you're talking the last hour or two, it really might not make that much difference.  Don't ever try to "power through" the stall by raising the temp; that's when the tenderizing magic occurs!  Let it ride, no matter how long it takes.  Once it starts to climb out of the stall, raising the temp is probably not an issue - just don't try to "force" it through the stall period (when the temp drops, or stops climbing).
