Turkey results for 18#

Here is my brined, smoked bird. 18# at 4 1/2hrs at ~240. IT of 165 both sections of bird. In cooler wrapped in foil covered in towels.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Tried a 9# TB today. Took 6 1/2hrs set on 250F and it was warmer outside today. Not quite sure why that happened but interesting results otherwise. Turned out just as good.

I have also noticed that the TB takes longer than a whole turkey.    Perhaps the cavity of the whole turkey helps with cooking time?
