..... when you get up in the middle of a dead sleep to start a smoke. I got up before the chickens this morning to start a long day of smoking and things weren't going well right from the start. I couldn't get the Auber to register temps correctly and the box temp wasn't rising like it should. After some panic and a half hour of playing with the Auber programming, I realized that I had plugged the probe jacks into the wrong ports. I don't know if it was because I wasn't fully awake or the fact that this was all happening in near pitch dark conditions. Oh, and I was warned about making too much noise and waking up my wife!!! LOL!
