The Norman Cabinet

I have a Model 2D smoker and would like to raise its height and have some extra storage space for my extra cook racks and cook rails. I'm thinking about purchasing "The Norman Cabinet." I like the fact it is stainless steel. Easy to clean and won't rust.

Does anyone out there own a 2D and Norman Cabinet?

Is the door opening large enough to place my extra 2D (5 ea) cook racks and extra pair of cook rails in the bottom storage shelf area? Can they be inserted straight in or would they need to be tilted to insert them into the cabinet?

These questions come up because of the door stops in the cabinet. The cabinet is 17 1/2 inches wide. The racks are 14 1/2 inches wide. I can't see each door stop being 1 1/2 wide. If they were that it would prevent racks from the being inserted in the cabinet without tilting.  What do you know or think?

Steve said he was out of office and was unable to answer my width question until late next week. Next I came here hoping someone could answer my question. Nothing so far. So I took scaled measurements off the website pictures. I believe the answer to my question is approximately 16 inches. Since the shelves are 14 1/2 inches wide and the racks are a little shorter, they should slide straight into the cabinet.

I now have a Norman Cabinet on order. If my calculations are off a little, I will get the right angle grinder out and make an adjustment.

I received the Norman Cabinet last week and I like it. The shelves fit easily into the cabinet. Here are a few pictures of the smoker and cabinet.
