This rub is one of Texas great secrets. They have really never marketed heavy or have a strong on-line presence.
This rub was created back in 1939 by Lee and Dales uncle.
They went on the BBQ circuit and were early pioneers of BBQ contests along with Apple City BBQ (Mike Mills)
You could say there might not have been a Mixon or Franklin if it wasn't for these early competitors.
Both brothers have passed on to the Big Cook Off in the sky but there rub lives on.
I believe the family has kept there wonderful concoction going and I just dread if it ever goes away.
So I want y'all to know about it.
Not salty, sweet and savory, just right.
Makes a great marinade if you rub the day before and let it sit in the fridge overnight.
You can use this on anything. Great for lo and slo.
I use more of this rub than all my others combined (trust me, I am a major rub-aholic)
Good pricing and good shipping rates.
Getcha some, I really think you will like it.
