Sweet Potatoes

I am planning on doing a pork loin or ribs (can't decide yet)  Can I throw my sweet potatoes in as well?

I have cooked regular potatoes with ribs, only thing is put them on the rack close to the smoke box. Poke some holes in the skin with a fork and maybe rub with oil.

Yes, you can!  I don't know, though, about the time required to finish sweet potatoes.  When I do ribs, I throw in some baked potatoes (with EVOO, salt, pepper rub, and some holes poked in them, and unwrapped), and they require a good 5 to 5.5 hours at 235F to be fully baked.  I have not tried sweet potatoes, so I am not sure if they require the same amount of time.  If you are doing the pork loin, then you may want to finish the sweet potatoes in the oven after the loin is ready.
