Smoker Model 1 Control Knob

Hey there,

I have the model 1 unit and the control nob is spinning around and will not make contact with the controler.

I pulled it off and noticed that it is 2 pieces alone with a wire (what looks like a lock washer)

Anyone know the fix on this so I don’t need to buy a new controller knob?

The wire fits around the central collar in the knife and supplies the pressure to hold on to the shaft. You should be able to fit it bank on. But if not,contact Steve via email with photo. He will take care of you.
