RTIC Coolers Part 2 Soft Pack

Just an FYI and I'd love input from anyone crazy enough to have tried a Yeti soft side.

Just returned from a 4 day trip.  Brought both the Yeti 20 hardside and the RTIC medium size soft side which are about equal capacity

Both were pre-cooled Monday AM and loaded with ice and drink mid Monday. 

Come Tuesday 6:00 PM the RTIC was all water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its now Thursday afternoon and the hardside Yeti still has good 1/2 ice left.

Maybe that's all normal, but for anyone hoping these thick "sided soft" coolers perform "well" don't get your hopes up.

Time spent for both coolers were next to each other in a Honda SUV.  Mid 80's temp and left in the back all the time.  They were NOT ON THE EXHAUST side of the back of the car.

I haven't tried either yet but I wouldn't expect a soft side cooler to last as long as a hard side cooler.

Not surprising.  No way a "soft side" cooler is going to last as long as a "full frame" hard-side cooler!  They're meant to be temporary storage.
