Rack seizing in hanger

Has anyone had a rack that was loose in a cold smoker but became seriously stuck after smoker reached operating temp.  My SI 3 made it in friday.  Seasoned it Saturday and did first smoke of pork loin and potatoes Sunday.  When I went to slide rack with potatoes out to butter n wrap them, the rack would not budge.  After food was done I took other rack and it still fit on other four slots.  After smoker cooled the stuck rack removed freely.

The racks in my #2 have been pretty sticky when hot too, I just attributed it to smoke build up making them sticky - but will pay more attention the next time around.

I usually have to lift on the rack a bit as I put it in or taking it out, but with no problem

I have one that does that too in my #3. Guessing I need to fire it up with no food and get to the bottom of it.
