Pulled chicken sandwiches

This sandwich is made with smoked chicken and red cabbage slaw with crumbly blue cheese. it uses a white bar b cue sauce that is awesome. i didn't know white bar b cue sauce even existed!! One of the challenges of being a Yankee i suppose. i have learned i have missed out on a lot of good foods over the years. Anyway.  I have been thinking since eating this and i can't think of a restaurant sandwich i liked better than  this one. i used apple wood as my son has allergies to many  nut trees and i didnt know what that would do to him. at a minimum it seems to ruin the taste for him.
it's not my recipe but i will put the link for those interested. Malcom is downright  awesome....

Looks great, Tom!  Try cherry, some time...absolutely great on poultry, and not a nut tree!

Great idea DM, i'm in!

I rarely use anything but Cherry for poultry. It will give the bird a nice dark red/brown color too which is a nice by-product of using cherry. :)

I made that sauce, and you're right, it is amazing.  I also think it would be terrific on brisket or beef ribs, since it contains horseradish, and I love horseradish with beef.

Just made these sandwiches again. they are awesome.

Thank you for the suggestion to use Cherry with Poultry!
that is really good
