Pork Belly Burnt Ends from home cured Bacon

I’ve only made bacon one other time. Am in process of making it again as I type. But I can’t see making it with cured belly since I want bacon out of it.

I’m sure it would work great though. But my only question is it really necessary to cure he belly if you are going to make burnt ends out of it unless you already have it cured? Let us know how it works out if you do it.
