One Month in

I picked my SI3 up the Saturday after thanksgiving, and so far seems like one of the best culinary choices I've made. I'm really enjoying the vibe and recipes here on the forum as well. So, after one month of ownership I've smoked:
43lbs of beef jerky(20lbs dry)
35lbs of pork roasts
17lbs of beef
24lbs of chicken
3lbs of turkey(drumsticks)
10lbs of homemade sausage links(Polish)
I truly love this thing.... Can't wait to see what this year brings, besides a bigger waistline :o.
Cheers, Happy New Year, and great smokes!

You are off and running, Bill!  I am always thinking about what to smoke on the next weekend...a foodsaver machine comes in handy to freeze what we can't eat!

Thanks guys. I have a vacuum sealer, slicer, grinder and stuffer also. Got two refrigerators with the freezers about maxed out,  ;D

Very nice start indeed! You do know that we'd like pictures to substantiate that claim, lol. I think you've cooked more in that time frame than I have on ALL of my grills/smokers combined ::)

Keep up the good work!!

I got some of it documented Jason :D. We prefer to eat our own cooking versus being disappointed at various restaurants. Between my wife and I, we basically have all the bases covered in the cooking department. Plus we feed anywhere from 4-7 people at any given time, so that's why volume, and hell I just like to cook 8)

Awesome man! I do a fair amount of cooking here and there. Every once in a while I have get togethers with family or friends and then I put on a spread. Mostly it's just me and my wife anymore so we don't do a heck of a lot of cooking. Every once in a while I need me some smoker/grill therapy though ;)
