Yesterday smoked a 8# butt and two racks of ribs. I know the advice was to do separately but i wanted to give it a shot.

Butt went on at 230am smoked at 250 for 7 hours, after 5 hours i wrapped the butt. At the 7 hour mark I added the ribs and dropped the temp to 240. Thank you Auber.

The butt finished at the 10 hour mark and let it rest in my stackable cooler. I pulled the ribs after 4:45 minutes and wrapped until ready to serve.

The pork feast was an overwhelming success. Butt was tender and juicy and the ribs were awesome. Added a little carolina piedmont sauce and we were in heaven.

I would do this again. It was a blast and the compliments meant the world to me.

Very little leftovers!
