New Smokin-it #1 Owner

Ordered my Smokin-it #1 on a Holiday Sale on Dec.31st and was already at my door on Jan.6th!  Even received a flavor savor instead of the rib hooks for a great surprise.  Thanks to this forum I have already made a DIY Jerky Fan and have ordered wood chips & chunks from smokinlicious.  Both Smokin-It and SmokinLicious have top notch customer support.  Now I just need some time to season and start smokin-it.  Hopefully this can replace my Nessco dehydrators in a better way.

Looks good. I would suggest using a paper towel with a circle cut in it to lay between the smoker and the fan to help move condensation out of the fan.

Thanks will be trying that too... but do you find it stops the process of removing the humidity?

No, it actually helps because there is condensation on the PVC usually and the towel siphons it away.
