Very interesting, I wonder how well the smoke penetrates the meat. If it does work, heck it would make smoking cheese super easy!

My hunch is anything over 140 deg temp would not work?  Smoke pen temp.  They demoed it doing drinks and cheese salads which might work? 

I highly doubt it works on cooked/finished food which they did show and sort of cringed at.

The "gotcha" is the reorder of "special" wood chips.

Sort of like getting ink for your printer!

I agree, they make very little money on printers, that cash cow is the ink....

I saw that this morning on QVC. Adding smoke to an already cooked chicken.  And to raw marinated pork chops. Not a gadget I would want.
 
Dave, me neither. Sounds like a piece of junk and the reviews are terrible e.g. "food tastes like an ashtray"
