Hello smokers:  New 2D owner here (and new to smoking).  Looking forward to learning much from the seasoned pro's on this forum.  So far, so good.  Seasoned the unit the other day, trying baby backs today. Auber seems a little intimidating and can't figure out the cord hanger, but I'm sure it will all come.

Welcome from Texas Julian! Glad to see you've hit the ground running. I don't have the auber on mine but I'm sure as you use your new buddy you'll get it figured out. If not there are many here who will be glad to explain it to you. Baby backs are a favorite of mine, behind brisket and pork butts, and there are many many posts about how to smoke them best. Be sure to keep us up to date on your baby backs. We love pics too! Enjoy!

Bob, he has the integrated 2D.  No need to autotune, unless he just wants to.  These are pre-programmed for the SI, unlike the standalone Aubers that are tuned for the Bradley.

Like you, I found the Auber program intimidating when I bought my 2D.  I pressed the set button so many times I thought surely I had done something wrong.  I went back through the whole process again just to make sure.  Also, the little "t" seemed strange as opposed to the "F".  It does take some getting used to, at least for me.
