Good evening. Ordered up a model #2 and look forward to receiving it.
I started smoking meat 3 years ago after eating smoked ribs from my buddy's smoker. I started with a ECB that I modified and then moved on to the tried and true Masterbuilt. The Masterbuilt died on me during the 4th of July on the overnight during a pulled pork smoke. I couldn't serve the meat as I didn't know what the temp of the meat was when the element died.
My favorite smoke is pictured which is tuna belly. I caught it at 1pm and it was in my smoker @ 3pm. The smaller BlueFin came inshore for a brief moment and we were lucky to be there. If Anyone ever has the chance to catch or get your hands on the expensive belly, Smoke it. It's the Oceans Bacon.
