Need help understanding the Auber PID

Can someone give me a step by step process for what buttons I would hit to set the Auber PID to run for 4 hours at 250 degrees?  I want to preseason my model 2 D.
Unfortunately, the instructions that came with the model make no sense to me.  :(
Thank you!

1) hit the set button
2) hit the + or - button until you reach temperature you want
3) hit set button
4) it plus button to get "t" in the window
5)hit set button
6) hit + button until the window reads, "4.0"
7) hit set button until you go through all 6 programs
8) program 1 will now run at set temperature for 4 hours

Hoping my 3D is delivered tomorrow and I will be doing the same thing. I tried reading the Auber manual and it is difficult to understand without having the unit in front of me. I'm sure I'll have questions as well so thanks for your understanding and patience with us newbies!

The Auber controls are one of those things that feel like reading stereo instructions, until you actually start pushing buttons on the unit.  It's actually fairly intuitive, once you start.  The six "steps" of a program always have 3 parts:  Temperature, trigger, and desired result.  So:

C01    What box temp? (250 with the +/- buttons)
E01    What trigger?  Time or temperature of the meat?  (select "t" with the +/- buttons, as opposed to "F."
t01    How long?  (put 4.0 in the right window).

These three "ingredients" always make a program!
