My 3D is finally ordered

as of about 30 minutes ago

wanted to order last year but my van got totaled and the insurance of course did not cover the cost of a replacement so we had to cut all the corners we could to cover that

but this year knock wood so far so good... and i just finally ordered it

it's our tax refund bonus to us this year

fedex says it should show up friday. they often come later in the day here but that's ok i can season it saturday and use it sunday

been picking up meat when i found good prices and filling the freezer, briskets, pork roasts, chicken quarters... and i promised the kiddo smoked bacon wrapped hot dogs

i think it will be getting a lot of use.. especially in the hot summer the more heat i can move outside the house the more i can save on AC

i think we are ready to go.. probably gonna break it in with a brisket quickly followed by some pork butts and chicken quarters .. gotta get those bacon wrapped hot dogs for the kid and might wanna try some meatballs and some mac and cheese

i might have to find a way to increase our grocery budget

when my wife saw the notice in email and the tracking she got up and did a little happy dance

I found the purchase of my #2 resulted in some weight redistribution on my frame.  Had to give up my moratorium on exercise.  Enjoy
