Since I was unable to find 16 mesh ground pepper, I ordered 2 lbs. of 6 from Monterey Bay Spice Company. They ship super fast and it showed up today. It has a great fresh ground pepper smell and it taste wonderful. If will be using this for my next rub batch, later next week that will be used for ribs and brisket.

I also want to check out Tones Restaurant Ground Pepper (14 Mesh, so a bit larger) and see how it compares for price, flavor and size.

I figured since the shipping was so high (priority mail flat rate) I would order two lbs. Pepper has at least a 2 year shelf life and I know it wont last that long!

Yep.  Gotta go bulk with the high shipping suppliers!  You could even vac-seal one of the bags, and freeze it until the first bag is gone.

I had thought about the vac seal, but the freezer is a good idea!
