Model 3 Dimensions

I was wondering if someone can confirm the depth of the 3. It says on the website 28” and I am hoping that includes the wire wrap. I am trying to build it into an outdoor kitchen and I have exactly 27.5” and really want the 3 to work. I don’t need the wire wrap so I can just remove it.

I have the 3DW which will be dimensionally the same.  From the back of the box to the front of the door is 27".  The cord wrap adds another inch to the back of the smoker.  You could remove the cord wrap, but you'd still have to allow that same inch for the cord coming out of the back.  That said, on the 3DW the cord comes directly out of near the center of the back.  The few pictures I can find of the back of #3 do not show the cord coming out of the same place.  If the cord happens to come out of the bottom or side then you may be golden.

Thank you for posting that. I can always mod it to make the cord exit from the bottom if that’s the only issue.
