Maple-Bourbon Bacon

New member
Had a little slab of belly and wanted to try something different. Black peppercorns, Fennel seed, Thyme, Garlic, Maple syrup, Bourbon, Brown sugar. Smoked with Hickory wood. I fried up the scraps to have a taste and love it!

This is something I have never tried in my 10+ years with a SI #2. Your pictures are inspiring me to give it a whirl!
