Love my #2

I just received the #2 smoker and would like to thank Steve for the timely shipment. It looks great and is in the seasoning process now. Looking forward to ribs tomorrow. This is David from Atlanta and I have been smoking for 15 years on an egg and wanted something different ( maybe better ).
 
For your first time, I would follow this recipe that is stickied in the "Pork" recipe section:

If you prefer Spare Ribs or St Louis Cut, the process is the same. You just typically end up extending your smoke by about an hour. So, adjust the times noted in the thread accordingly.

Good luck on your first smoke, and make sure the to take some pics to share. We love pics here. :)
 
Cooked and ready to eat after 5 hours. Much better than the Grill Dome or BGE. Loving the #2.
