Ok so i'm new around here. Just recently found the forums and the Smokin it product line a few days ago. Been doing a lot of research and reading of forums everywhere and I have decided this is my next purchase for sure. So I only have a few questions on which one at this point. The choice now is between 3 and 3d
1. I will mainly be using this to smoke kielbasa. Will I NEED the sausage fan out of the gate to have this smoker function well enough to make great kielbasa?
2. Kielbasa isnt the only item I will smoke but it is the most important to me. I have very little experience and/or knowledge of smoking butt, ribs, etc. but will try for sure. With the limited knowledge I have does it make sense to spend the extra for the 3D? Is it that user friendly that I will figure it out and find a lot of use to it. Will I kick myself later if I get the 3 or will I even notice the difference?
3. From what I understand, correct me if i'm wrong, the range of error for temperature in the 3 is +/- 40 degrees. But with the Auber its as low as +/-2 degrees? Is this correct? If so that seems like a good enough reason there.
Thanks in advance for your responses and I look forward to taking the leap later on today.
