Like you my friend, we are both rich in stories and experiences when I can I eat lot's of smoked foods and drink beer :)

Stay thirsty my friends..

I tried some Moinks yesterday and I could not believe how good they were!  I took a few down the street for some neighbors to try  out, and they were ecstatic about the taste.  Based on their recommendation, it looks like I will be preparing a big batch of Moinks for the community picnic in two weeks.  I used sugar maple at 225F for 2 hours, took them out at 1.5 hours for BBQ sauce.

I am glad you all like Moinks! It's amazing how something so simple can be so good isn't it?

I gave some to my neighbor down the street and Paul was supposed to save some for his wife. Paul told me that they were excellent and he ate them all. Needless to say his wife was not happy with him. So I promised to make her a batch in the near future, not sure if she will share will Paul or not :)
