Hey guys,
Smoked a 12-pound brisket over the weekend...delicious. But even after two days of brisket dinners, I found myself with several pounds of meat left over. So I decided to make my leftover smoked brisket chili. Recipe is below. My family prefers no-bean chili, but if you enjoy beans in your chili, you can easily add a can or two to the recipe.

Leftover Smoked Brisket Chili
INGREDIENTS:
• Two pounds smoked brisket, cut into bite-size pieces
• One 28-ounce can diced tomatoes
• One 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes
• One 6-ounce can tomato paste
• One medium onion, chopped
• 1 cup chopped bell pepper
• 2-4 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 teaspoons kosher salt
• 4 teaspoons chili powder
• 2 teaspoons cumin
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place mixture into a crock pot and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours.
Top with sour cream and shredded cheese (or Pure Hell hot sauce from www.addictivesauces.com).
