Key Lime Pie With Eggs
Ingredients:
4 egg yolks
½ cup key lime juice (about 12 key limes) or use Nellie & Joe’s Key West Lime Juice
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 (9” graham cracker crust or 6 mini graham cracker pie crusts)
1 1/2 t grated peel (fine)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine the egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk and lime juice and peel into bowl and beat with an electric mixer until fluffy.
Pour into unbaked graham cracker shell.
Bake for 15 minutes and allow to cool off before placing in refrigerator.
Top with whipped topping and garnish with lime slices if desired.
