Hi all! Chris from Oregon. New to the forum but not to smoking meat. Started many moons ago when my grandmother gave me a little chief.
Had some good runs of smoked salmon and venison jerky. Moved up to a vertical gas smoker as I pursued the art of sausages and snack sticks. Started on bigger and better things which led me to desire a well built insulated electric. I think around 2016, when it was pretty new to the lineup, I purchased the 4D. Had some disappointments with the sausage and sticks so went back to gas for those.
Finally after adding the jerky drier and Bella, I have been getting adjusted to the #4 for everything else. Have seen others on this forum that have success with sausage and sticks and would like to get there with mine. Looking forward to learning more from the masters on this forum!
