New member saying Good Morning and hello from Central Missouri. Received my Model One yesterday, seasoned it, have my first "project" in it right now. Followed the Lazy Q instructions: brined a butt overnight, got it all rubbed up and in the smoker 90 minutes ago. Fingers crossed an edible (if not perfect) product comes out about 6:00 this evening! Have to say my first experiences with the Smokin' It staff has been outstanding. Called their office late last Thursday afternoon, Steve answered the phone. Asked if I ordered a smoker was their any chance it could be delivered in time for Thanksgiving. He responded if I placed order now he would assure it went out that day and should be delivered Monday. Order placed, shipped an hour later, and delivered yesterday morning. Can't beat that service. Now looking forward to learning from the forum members and further developing my smoking skills!
