of 106 in Sacramento.  I get home and I hear the air conditioner running but it is getting increasingly hotter in the house.  Find that the fan isn't running at the condenser.  So, I make a few phone calls to friends and trouble shoot that the capacitor is blown.  Currently working to find one so we might be able to sleep tonight.  :P

I can only imagine.  Fill us in on results and/or history.  I'm pushing 15 years and hope I pull the trigger when its cold out and not 90 +

One of my buddies son used to work for Sears repair.  He is calling all his friends with service trucks to see if they have the right part number on their truck.  I'll likely be out there with a headlamp if we find one.  Otherwise, I'll be sleeping in the bath tub.

Been there, done that, brother!  Fortunately, a cap is easy to change.  Just be careful so you don't charge your battery!  Those things pack a helluva punch! :o
